NFL free picks is going to play the San Francisco 49ers -3 points against the Indianapolis Colts from preseason action on Sunday afternoon.

This game will kick off from Indianapolis at 4PM Eastern Time and you can watch it live nationally on the NFL Network.

Indianapolis has never tried much in preseason. Peyton Manning may see a series or two. Backup Curtis Painter was awful last season. The numbers 3 and 4 in the rotation are Tom Brandstater and Tim Hiller.

The 49ers quarterbacks line up with Alex Smith as the number 1 with veteran backup David Carr the number 2. Nate Davis sits as the number three and saw work last preseason.

Keep an eye on rookie running back Anthony Dixon. There was a reason Glen Coffee out of Alabama wants to retire behind his 2.7 yards per carry average and its because I believe Dixon was going to beat him out of the backup job to Frank Gore.
